1. How to set up Email address of GoFreight account

To set up an email address for your GoFreight account, please follow the instructions below.

(1)  Click "User" icon → “My profile”.

(2)  Under E-mail, click “Setup Email Server”.

If you are a Gmail/ Office 365 user, please go to step (5) directly.

(3)  Under the “Username” section enter a new email address.

(4)  Enter your email password and click “Verify” to confirm change. 


*Note:

  • When encountering “Authentication Failed”, please click “More” for more information to identify error code.

  • Error 535: When you see error 535, please follow the steps below.

  1. Check if you enter the correct password.

  2. If you enter the correct password, but still see error 535, please contact your email service provider or email administrator to make sure emailing from a 3rd party application via SMTP is enabled.

 

 (5)  Gmail/ Office 365 users may see two different pop-ups when clicking on the verify button or trying to send email from GoFreight, please follow the instructions below.


  1. After click on verify button, sign in with your email address then select Allow


  1.  Warning message pop-up when trying to send out email from GoFreight.

  2. Click “Advance” to show more.

  3. Click on the “Go to Gofreight(unsafe)” then come up another pop up window.

  4. Press the Allow button to get gmail set.

2. How to switch display Language

(1) Click user icon → “My Profile”

(2) Click “Setting”

(3) Select the language you want to switch. 

Language: English, Chinese(Traditional), Chinese(Simplified)

(4) Click “Save Changes”

3. How to reset GoFreight account password

To reset the password for your GoFreight account, please follow the instructions below.

(1)  Click "User" icon → “My profile”.

(2)  Click “Password”

(3)  Enter your current password.

(4)  Enter your new password and retype the new password.

(5)  Click “Reset password” to confirm change.

If you’ve the authority to manage the other user account, you can reset the password in “User Management” entry. Here’s the following:

(1) Go to “Setting” > “User Management”

(2) Find the account that you want to change password and click the green button “Reset Password” 

(3) Enter New password and re-type to check it.

(4) Click “Save”

Pop-up message: “Rest user Password Successfully" , means you’ve successfully changed the account PW.



It also allows you to enter that user account to change the password.
